SLT Hoops is more than just a basketball program, it’s a movement built on the belief that it takes a village to raise a champion. Founded on the principles of discipline, teamwork, and character development, SLT Hoops develops student-athletes on and off the court through elite training, mentorship, and community.
Our program serves athletes from grades 5-12 across New York City and beyond, providing opportunities to compete at the highest levels while preparing for success in school, college, and life. From grassroots development leagues to national travel teams, SLT Hoops is committed to creating a pathway that supports every stage of an athlete’s journey.
But basketball is just the beginning. We emphasize academic accountability, legacy-building, financial literacy, community service, and mentorship from alumni who’ve played at the collegiate and professional levels. Our athletes leave with more than skills, they leave with values, confidence, and a lifelong network of support.

If you're looking for a truly dedicated and consistent program, this the place. My son joined this group of awesome coaches during his freshman year and has been here ever since. Happy to say he's now moving on to play college ball. Never felt a need to. go elsewhere because they make you feel like family and really helped him develop on the court over the years. Coaches forge a bond with the boys that will last. Many boys have been with my son since freshman year too. Shows the loyalty the coaches inspire. This is a club worthwile!
